GLORY and sacrifice are intimately related. We do not always bring them so closely together in our thoughts as the Savior has done in His life. The greatest sac- rifice along the line of our Heavenly Father's leadings means the greatest glory for His cause. Every servant of His who has learned how to lay aside self for His sake and to suffer and be strong is glorifying Him. In this case, this book, though the public may not know it, is the outcome of a life of sacrifice thoroughly devoted to one great purpose, and its ideals are the. very highest because they are copied from the Master ; and it is sent forth in the hope that others may catch the spirit which it embodies and may go and do likewise. It has been the result of toilsome days and sleepless nights, not only for the purpose of writing but also for setting the type and preparing the book for publication. Rarely has one so completely put the whole life into a publication as has the author of this book, and it is sent forth with many prayers that it may prove a blessing to others. GEO. C.
