It is provided with a Billiard Room, Library and Ivcading" Room, Dressinj? Room, and a certain luunber of Bed Rooms, and will be supplied with such Papers, Periodicals, and Magazines as may, from time to time, appear to the Committee to be required. II. Two mem- bers of the Committee shall examine the ballot after the term of 7 days has expired. No bal- lot shall bo valid without ri Members having voted, and the number of black balls necessary to exclude shall be One in Five. If a sufficient number of ballots be not cast during that period of 7 days, the Candidate's name may be permitted to remain for a further period of 7 days; but if after the expirat^'on of such further period of 7 days there be not 10 votes cast, the name shall be withdrawn. Any Candidate who shall have leen declared "Not Elected,'' or whose name shall luwe been withdrawn, may not bo again submitted within the space of Three Months. The amount of the Monthly Subscription for Full Members shall be $2; for Honorary Members $1; and for Civilian Honorary Members $2. The Subscriptions shall be paid monthly, on the first day of each month, and in advance. Any member who may be absent from Van- couver island for a period exceeding one month, shall not be charged with his Subscription during such absence, but it will be necessary to notify the Secretary of his absence and of his return. Non-residents of Victoria or Esquimalt may be introduced to the Club for a period of 15 day.< l>y any Full Member, the Visitor's name, with that of the Member introducing him, being entered in the Book kept for that purpose. No Member can have more than two Visitors on the Book at the same time, nor can any Visitor be admitted more than twice in Twelve Months, except in the case of Officers of Foreign Nations or of the Royal Marine Detachment at San Juan, when they may be intro- duced by the Committee.
