 Miners outfits furnished, such as gold pans, mortars, quick silver, syanide of potassium, 
 retorts, blankets, tents, picks, hammers, shovels, glasses, forges, scales, etc. 
 
 This Machine is the result of a thofoughly practical study of the conditions of 
 placer mining as they generally prevail over Canada, It is designed so as to be made in a 
 number of sizes and styles, suitable for both the ,0 leral and special conditions of material, water 
 and location. 
 
 The Portable Machine includes No.s. i and 2 machines (as per list hereunder), 
 and is intended to be operated by three or four men, according to pumping conditions. Two 
 men operate the machine, and can suj)ply water up to 25 feet lift and 400 feet of draw. The 
 No. I machine will wash, saving practically all mineral values, at the rate of two tons per htjur, 
 and the No. 2 machine about one-half as much more. Either machine can be quickly dismantled 
 for removal. The heaviest piece is less than 100 lbs. The machines are simple, durable, fully 
 adjustable, easily operated, very practical and complete in every way. 
 
 Power. — Any of the machines may be run by steam, water, wind, horse or man power. 
 
 Mill. — ^In a mill having three or more of these machines (No.s. 3, 4 or 5) the pumping 
 can be done by one steam or power pump for the whole mill. The screening, also, can be done 
 ver>' clo.sely by one revolving or flat grizzly. The pumping and screening are not included in 
 these machines. 
 
 Estimates for any size of plant up to loo tons per hour, furnished on application.

 be .secured for the thorough examination of any property, and a report as to character and value 
 of material, general conditions of the proposition, and the most suitable construction of machines
