 such land shall remove the same witliin twenty-four houra after notice re- 
 ceived aa aforesaid of such obstruction, under a penalty of one dollar fot

 3d. That if any of the Overseers •hall refuse or negleet lo give notlM 
 •ad t« prosecute as provided in the first and seeoad aecUooa of this By-law' 
 on complaint to him by any resident in the townabip, be shall be liable 
 to a penaltv of net less than one dollar, nor more thar> ten dollars.

 mary manner before the Reeve or any Justice er Jnstioes of the Peaee hav- 
 iug jurisdiction in the municipality, and on conviction, the penalty inflicted 
 shall be recovered by distress and sale of gooda and chatties if the person

 of Ral«if;h in Council assembled, under and by virtue of an Act, cap. 54 
 
 of the OoDSolidated Statutes of Upper danada— 
 
 1st. That William H. White, nominated by the R^eve, and J. George 
 
 Coutts, nominated by the Counail, are hereby confirmed in their appoint- 
 
 ir.ent as Auditors. 
 
 2d. That William White is hereby confirmed in his appointment as 
 
 Assessor. 
 
 3d. That William Dolsen is hereby confirmed in his appointment m 
 Colloetor. 
 
 4th. That Hobert Williams is hereby confirmed in his appointment as 
 Inspector. 
 
 5th. That Arthur Jones, P. L. S.. is hereby confirmed in the appoint* 
 ment as township Surveyor.
