Absolute soundness may be waived in case of the class for speeding if the directors see fit, i i. -ii As it is desirable to encourage the breeding of horses that will produce the highest prices to their breeders, with a view to assisting in the selection of stock for that purpose, the pedigrees of all horses en. red for the above premiums must be produced if required at the time of race, such pedigrees to extend to at least the Sire, Grandsire, Dam and Grandara. Fifty per cent of the above premiums will be paid for walk-overs. The Committee of Management reserve the right to postpone any of the above contests in case of bad weather. Eules of National Association to govern the harness contests as far as they can be made applicable. In the event of a greater number of horses entering than can be satis- factorily started at once it shall be competent for the Judges to arrange them as they may see fit.
