 great amount of information, in most readable and intelligible language, respecting

 We recommend the study of this a<lmirable book, which is another illustnation 
 of the author's desire to develop sound political thought in this country.

 The words used render the meaning clear to the mind of the ordinary reader, and the

 less fill a large sphere of usefulness that up to the present, has been a void. Its* 
 bimplicity will be likely to carry the study of our institutions and constitutional 
 practice into the school-room. That would be a national benefit. It would help our
