The Judges will be appointed by the Council of the Association, previous to the Exhibition, and will receive a circular in- forming them of the fact and inviting them to act. ° 19. Judges are invited to report them- selves at the Secretary's office, presenting their circular of appointment, immediately on their arrival at the building. 20. The Judges will meet, at the com- mittee room in the building, on Tuesday September 2Gth, at 10 o'clock a.m., to make arrangements for entering upon their duties, and will then be furnished with the commit- tee books containing the numbers of the entries in each class. 21. _ No person shall act as a Judge in any Class in which he may be an exhibiter. 22. For Animals, the declaration must contain the name of the breeder or seller and the date of purchase. Pure breeds or crosses from pure blood to be accompanied'with a pedigree establishing their purity or that of their ascendants. _ For Implements the declaration will set forth the -'osignation, the purposes for Which intended, and the selling price or cost of manufacture ; whether the exhibitor be the importer, inventor, or improver, or, in a word, whether the implement has been con- structed on principles elsewhere known. ^ For Production, the yield per acre ; quality of soil.
