What should l>e understotnl hy the puhlic is, that it is not a mere uuestion of '-omnarative v;ilue bctwc-en " Vaseline " and the im'Uitions, but that the imitations do not effect the wonderful healing results of the world renowned " V.nseline," anu'hn'. they are not the same thing nor made in the s.'\me way. Besides this, many of the imitations are harmful, irritant and not safe to use, while true Vaseline is perfectly harmless. Perfect safety therefore lies in buying oniy original packages put up by and marked with our name. CHESEBROUGH M'F'G CO. The regiil.tr dramatic season was opened at the Academy of Music, last night, with the familiar and popular play of "After Dark." The theatie was crowded to the doors, and no more enlhusi- astic audience ever greeted a company of players. The scenery is new and correct, being descri|)tive of scenes and incidents in the English capital. The second act is a representation of the river Thames by moonlight, with the city of London in the distance. Arirerofreal water occupies the rear portion of the stage. Into this the girl Eliza is thrown and rescued by old Tom. The acting company was superb. — Richmond Times.
