III.— Corresp'^ndlng Mem hers. 8. — Corresponding Members shall be pcrso'jj resident out of Toronto, who are desirous of contributing to the objects, of the Society, and shal'. be elected in the same manner and enjoy the same privileges as Honorary Members. SECTION III. OFFICE BEARERS. 1. — The office bearers shall be elected by the majority p/esent at the Annual General Meeting. 2. — Any o5ice bearer absenting himself for three consecutive meetings, without a sufficient reason, shall vacate his office. 1 — The Presuhnt. 3. — It shall be the duty of the President to preside over all meetings of the society at which he is present, and to preserve order, and the decision of the Chair on questions of order, shall be final. III.— The Secretary. 5. — The Secretary shall keep an accurate list of all the members and obtain their signature^, to the laws, in a copy kept by himself, in which he shall also insert all alterations which may from time to time be made in the laws of the Society. 6. — He shall make minutes of the business of the Society in a separate book. 7. — He shall, at tlie Annual General Meeting, furnish to the Society a statcnieut of the aflfai/s, certi- fied by the Committee of Management. IV.—Thc Treasurer. 8. — The Treasurer shall collect the admission fees and other contributions, and shall be responsible for the same, when so collected. 9. — He shall keep regular accounts and minutes of all his transactions in reference to the affairs of the Society. 10. — He shall at the Annual General Meeting, furnish to the Society a statement of its financial afiairs, certified by the Committee of Management. il- — If one I\Iember fill both the offices of Secretary and Treasurer, all the articles in this and the proceed- ing sub-section shall apply to such member. V MUTUAL IMrROVKMENT SOCIETY. y.— The Editor. 12.— The Editor shall read at every fourth meeting, all papers contributed for insertion in the Magazine, and if approved of by the Society, squall stitch the same together and preserve them. VI. — Committee of Manayement. 13. — The Committee of Management shall consist of five Members, (President and Secretary included,) of whom three shall form a quorum. 14. — They shall disburse the funds and make all necessary arrangements for the ordinary Annual or other Meetings, and generally manage the affairs of tho Society. SECTION IV. MEETINOS. 1.— Meetings shall be Ordinary, Monthly, Annual 1 or Special. 2. All Meetings shall be opened and closed with Prayer.
