At the Provincial Exhibition hold at London on 24th to 27th Sejttember, 1861, the first prize was awarded to Rainor & Kloss for the superior quality of their Piano-Fortes, which were tested in reoard to Touch, Tone Equality of Tone and Durabilihi of Tune ; and also two extra prizes for the superior polish of the mstruments. Hv also took the first prizes at the Provincial P'airs held in 1858 and 1859. The Pianos ot Rainer & Klos? vvere placed in the lughest class, and a diploma awarded them. Mr. Rainer's name is well known to the Canadian public as a Piano Alanuiacturerj, and requiros no further commendation than that which his iiieti'unients have already so justly earned.
