 Sec. 3. Every member shall pay as dues $1 
 monthly,' commencing when the rank of Knight 
 is attained. Any brother who shall become in 
 arrears for one year's dues shall be declared 
 suspended by the Chancellor Commander. 
 
 ARTICLE IV. 
 
 BKNEFITS. 
 
 Sec. 1. Every Knight in good -standing, who 
 iias been a member of this Lodge for less than 
 six months, shall, in case of sickness or other 
 disability preventing him from attending t^ or 
 supervising his business, be entitled to draw 
 from the funds of the Lodge, the sum of $1.00 
 per week. Every Knight in good standing, 
 who has been a member of this Lodge for more 
 than six months, shall be entitled to draw from 
 the funds of the Lo<lge the sum of $10.00 per 
 week for the first six months, $5 per week for 
 the following six months, and should sickness 
 be of longer duration than twelve months, the 
 amount to be allowed shall be determined by a 
 two-thirds vote of the Lodge, to commence 
 from the time such Brother is reported to the 
 Lodge as being sick or disabled; Provided, 
 Tliat if such Brother is away from the 
 vicinity of the Lodge at the time of becoming 
 
 sick or disabled, and he shall at once notify 
 the Lodge thereof and obtain a certificate from

 Sk(\ 3. On the death of a brother entitled to 
 beutifits as delined in Art. 9, Sec. 7, of the Con- 
 stitution, Ihore sliall be appropriated from tlie 
 funds of tlie Lodge tl\e sum of 375.00 to defray 
 liis funeral expenses, and on the death of a 
 brother's wife, the sum of 850.00 to defray her 
 funeral expenses. 
 
 Sec. 4. If a brother of tliis or any other 
 Lodge of the Knights of Pytlrias who is in good 
 standing, is in such circumstances as to require 
 special relief, his case shall be referred to the 
 the Relief CJommittee which shall consist of the 
 <^. C, V. C. and M. of E. 
 
 Sec. 5. A member while sick and receiving 
 benefits Cannot become in arrears for dues, but 
 the amount of his dues shall be deducted from 
 the amount drawn for his benefit.
