At the Quarterly Meeting of the Society, held in Mack's Hotel, on the 9th November, 1843, a Committee was ap- pointed to compose an outline of the history of the So- ciety, from the period of its formation till the present time, and cause it to i^ printed, together with the Constitution, and a correct list of the Members. ARTICLE VIII. Of the Duty of the President. The President shall, when h3 is present, preside in i meetings of the Society, preserve order, put the questia and declare the decision.
