Aides to the Chief Marshal Tor each day will report to the Chief Marshal at the City Hall at 12 o'clock, noon. Aides to Chief of Division will report at City Hall at the same hour each day. Chiefs of Divisions with their Aides will he in position at the points designated by the Marshals at 1 p.m. on Mon- and 10 a.m. Wednesday and Friday, and will report to the Chief Marshal readiness to move at the hour appointed for each day. Any division not reporting as ready to move at that hour will lose its position in line. All associations, trades or private parties which have been assigned to divisions, will report to the Chief of Divi- sions at the points designated on their cards at 1 p.m. on Monday and 10 a.m. on Wednesday tmd Friday. Those not in line at the time of moving will not be permitted to join subsequently. The Divisions will be closed in mass on forming on the several streets designated on cards. Carriages will, if necessary, form two abreast, and pre- serve that order. Detachments of men will form in columns of fours, when less than twenty in double columns. Horses to be watered before starting, as no halts will be permitted on any part of the line for the purpose. The moment of starting the column will be announced by the simultaneous ringing of the City Hall and Fire Bells — after that hour the route of the Procession will be kept clear of all teams, cars or obstructions of any kind. Divisions, on moving, will take distance from the head of columns. Each Chief of Division, on moving, will send an Aide to the rear of his Division, who will report to the Chief of succeeding Division immediately upon the last detachment of his own Division moving — each Chief of Division will detail auxiliary Aides to the rear to see that sections preserve the column intact. 16 In case of any accident delaying serioasly the movement of a Division, th^ Chief of that Division will at once report the fact to the Giief Marshal. Chiefs of Divisions will take care that their Divisions are kept closed np, and there is no straggling from the line. There will be an interval of ten paces preserved between sections of Divisions. As the procession will pass on review before the Liente- nant- Governor, His Worship the Mayor, and the Chairman of the General Committee, at the Bossin Honse— rail will salute — and music will play. Officers carrying batons will salute by raising the baton to rim of hat, then extending right arm at full length, elbow close to the hip when within six paces of the Beview- ing Officers, and return to former position when six paces beyond reviewing officers. During such time they will look directly at the Reviewing Officer. No political or obnoxious designs or legends will be per- mitted in the columns, or the playing of any party tunes by the bands. No smoking, or drinking of any spirits or malt liquors will be allowed. Persons mounted, occupying waggons or vehicles of any kind must ride in front or rear of them and not on the side. As soon as the Divisions have reached the Industrial Grounds their respective Chiefs will dismiss them. All who are to take part in the several parades are particularly warned to be punctual in reporting in the morning, so as to be in line ready to move at the appointed hour. The hour of moving will not be delayed for any one or any number of sluggards.
