To seoarc the admission of any candidate, it shall be necessary th it four fifths of the I members present at the billot shall v»to in his favor. 2. — The Office Bearers of the Club sh ill consist of a IPrepident, two Vice-Presidents, and Secretary who shall also act as Treasurer and three members miking in all seven, who shall form the Committee of Management and Ibe electetl ^tthe Annual General Meeting, continuing in joffice for one year, but may be re-elected. 3.-— The Annual General Meeting, for the election of Office Bearers and other purposes shall be held on the last Monday of November in each year, from and after this date — seven to form a quorum wich number shall be the quorum at all meetings. 4. — Each member shall upon his admission into the Jlub pflty an Entrance fee of Five Dollars, besides an an- lual subseription of Ten Dollars, payable on the Utduy )f December in each year. 'I •5'^ 9, — The Secretary shol! invariably record ttie first jiame played in each season, and it shall also be his duty record any Game played, [of which particulars shall be lauded to him by either of the skips. 10. — It shall likewise be the duty of the Secretary to lavo on the Rink etch Club day a Copy of the Rules of he Royal Caledonian Club, and of the Constitution and iy-Laws of this Club. 11. — Any Members not in arrears shall have the privi- edge of introducing a friend not a resident of the City as a previledged Member for a fortnight. 12.— The Members of the Club shall dine together each year on the 14th of January, being the anniversary of the opening of the Rink in 1876, and each Member, on givinn; due notice shall have the right of entertaining ut such dinner one or more Guest at his own expense. Members in Three-Rivers, and not attending the dinaer, shall pay their proportion of the expenses thereof, but not of the Wines. 13. — The preceeding regulations shall be considered as ermanent rules and not changeable, but by the concur- rence of two-thirds of all the members present at a ueeting expressly convtued for that purpose. The Tees shall be put down thirty eight yards ipart. In a continued strait line with the Tees, and Tour yards distant from each, a circle, eighteen inches iu' liameter shall be drawn on the left hand side of said line [(looking in tbe directien to be played) and it^ edge jus* touching it. Within this circle whether standing on the Ice, or on any rest, support, or abutment whatsoever, per- litted by the Rules, each player, when playing his stone, shall place his right foot nnd left foot on the left hand side >f the central line. When a hack or |iatch in the ice is used, it must be behind the circle above lescri bed, and not of greater length than fourteen inches leasurino; from the central line. If in sweeping or otherwise, a running stone be mar- id by any of the party to which it belongs, it shall be ^ut off the ice ; if by tny of the adverse purty, it sh mII be Placed where the Skip of the party to which it belongs lirect. If marred by any other means, the player shill jplay his stone. Disputed ^hots to bo determined it — 13 - \j the Skips ; or if they disagree, by the Umpire, orwhea lere is no Umpire, by some neutral person mutually tosen by them, whose dicisioo shall be final. A!l measu- tments to ho taken from the centre of the Tea, to that irt of the stone which is nearest to it. No stone shall be msiderod within or without a circle, unlesi^ it clear it ; id every stone shall be held as resting on a line, whioh is not completely clear it ; — in every case, this is fy bo )termined by piacin^ a square on the ice, at thut part of le circle or line in dispute. 10. — Each Skip shall have the exclusive rej^ulation and lirection of the game for his party, and may play in what irt of it he pleases ; but having chosen his place at the iginning. he must retain it till the cud of the game, [he players may give their qdvice, but cannot control icir director ; ni»r are they upon any pretext to address lemselves to the person about to play.
