Free Evening Drawing Classes ( ^-- i This circular is issued with a view of giving information to tlu,se who desire it concerning the aims of tl>e Council in cst.b ,shm, the Free Kvenin, Drawing Classes, and the courses of study tn the same. The school is chiefly intended to afford instruction in Drawing and its useful applications in It.lustrial pursuits to those having ta.te and incUnat.on for these subjects, but more principally for artisans and apprentices. U is the aim of the tV.uncil to make the instruction as practical as possible, in order that the pupils may profitably apply the knowledge gained in the various trades and branches of industry in which they are engaged. Daily experience demonstrates the great value of drawing in all trades. : and as the classes are entirely free, the Council trusts that both employer i and employed may show an interest in the important work-the former ; by directing; attention to the value and usefulness of the School, and the j latter by regular attendance on the classes.
