OF THE SUPREME COURT OF NOVA SCOTIA,

Respectfully Represents :

That by the recent demise of Mr. Justice McCully, a vacancy
has occurred on the Bench of the Sui>reme (.■oui't aforesaid, and your
memoralists believe that Robert L. Weatherbe, Queen's Counsel,
undoubtedly stan<ls at the head of the Banisters of Nova Scotia, who
liave supported the present Administration, and has taken th.at posi-
tion by virtue of his eminent ability, great experience, and consistent
adherence to the princi[)les of his pai*ty, in adversity as well as in
prosperity. Mr. Weatheibe's attainments are respected by all
who know him, and by all those who have been opposed to him in
professional or political contests, as well as by those who have been
associated with him. Your memoralists believe that the appoint-
ment of any man of inferior attainments and less piominence to such
an important position would be a misfortune to the Piovince, and
they respectfully request that Mr. Weatherbe be appointed to the
said vacancy.
