REMARKS. t2f^ 9^^ 9^^ It being Mr. Cullen'.s intention to return to France, and not wishing to take back a single picture with him, he has instructed us to dispose of at auction his collection of ninety-two Oil Paint- ings, which include his " Salon " works. Mr. Cullen is a native of Montreal, where he commenced his artistic study, but, wishing to become acquainted with the French school of painting, went some years ago to PVance. There meeting with success, his ability was recognised, and his pictures admitted to the " Salon." His pictures are all in the "impressionist" style, and as this class of painting is now very much in vogue, we hope connoisseurs and admirers of this work will take quite an interest both in the exhibition and sale.
