Whebeas it was deemed e^ped^ent that the clerk of the peace do not issue the assessment rolls for the year 1847 until aller the sittings ot Coiincil in February next, Be it enacted by the tempo- rary Chairman and Municipal Coaf^l of the District of Huron, in pursuance of the powers vested in them by the Acts 4th and 5th Victoria, chapter 10, and 9th Victoria, chapter^ 40, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same that the clerk of the peace of the said district of Huron do not issue fhc assessors' rolls for the year 1847, till after the sittings of council in i February next.
