 other protierty belonging to the Church, for the benefit ol 
 the same, under the conditions specitied in this Constitution, 
 or sii'li other conditions in agreement therewith, as may 
 hereafter be .iiadn — unit that the said Managers ^hall have

 B. Tor the liipiidation of nil debts with which the l^hiirch 
 IS now burdened, or which may hereafter he contracted, for 
 the neceosary iinprovemciit and repair of the premises the 
 Committen of Management shall hold the property respon- 
 .»:|ble. and shall have powirr to apply for their lii)uidatiun such 
 portion- of tho surplus revenues as may remain after the 
 inainteuaiice of Divno Worship is duly provided for. 
 
 t*. That the ordinary Sabbath Day Collections shall go 
 to the (ienerul Church Tund. and be appropriated for the 
 incidental expenses of the (hurch — such as Communion 
 elements. Ministers assessment for Presbytery and Synod 
 Kiindt! — travelling expenses to and Ircm Presbyteries. Synod 
 and Sacrament, Precentor's and Hendlo's salarioi- — and 
 other necessary purposes — but that the Session may appoint 
 special colleetion.a I'or public and christian objects, as cir- 
 cumstances may seem to require. 
 
 111. That the Minister's stipend shall he guaranteed by 
 the Committee o\ Managers from the revenues of the ('hu.-ch, 
 and shall he payable bv their Treasurer to the Minister. In 
 two equal portions, on the first day of January and the first 
 day of July, every year— <iiid that they shall ha\e power to 
 augment or diminish the Minister's atqierd, according to 
 the moans at their disposal, and when they deem such aug 
 mentation or diniiniitioii fit and necessary. 
 
 11. That the majority of the electors (lualified in article 
 three, shall have power to make any .ilteration or amend 
 Dient on any of the foregoing rogulations, with the exception 
 of the lirst clause, but the motion for such alteration or 
 amendment must lie over for one year. 
 
 H. That in the event of any doobt or dispute arising in 
 the adminibtralion of the affairs of the Church under this 
 Constitution, which cannot bo amicably arranged, the party 
 or parlies interested shall have the right of compiaint or 
 appeal to the Presbytery, and from that to the liighest judi- 
 catories of the Church, who shall have power to decide ac- 
 cording to the provisions of this Constitution, or according to 
 the laws of the Church in all matters not herein provided for. 
 
 l.S. That if at any future period, any dissatisfaction shall 
 arise in the (^Jongiegation with tho Pastor thereof, and this 
 dissatisfaction shall proceed so far as to threuton to destroy 
 his usefulness, and the peace and inlcgrily of the (Church — 
 that it shall be the duty of the Trustees to call a meeting of 
 tho electors — and provided, at »aid meeting, n majority of 
 the whole electors present, shall concur in thi« view of thi- 
 state of the Church, a petition shall bo prepared ti; be laid 
 before the Presbytery, praying that they will he pleased to 
 hold a visitation of the Church, to enquire into the eiicum- 
 stancea thereof, and to tAke such measures for tho removal 
 of the causes of dissatisfaction as to thein may appear best, 
 in conformitv with the laws of the Church tit such cases.
