Under Section 3, Article XI, a member may, by entering his name and the name of his friend in the book kept in the hall for the purpose, obtain a card for any friend, not residing within twenty miles of the city, to the club for two weeks, but no person shall be entitled to receive such privileges more than once in six months. 10. Any visitor residing beyond twenty miles from the city, desiring to use the club for a longer period than two weeks, may, after being properly proposed and seconded and elected by the House Committee, obtain a Privilege Member's Ticket for three months for the sum of $5. Ladies are admitted to the club only at the hours laid down in the rules for Ladies' Department and on Wednesday afternoons. ^ 13. Attention is called to Section 2 of Article XII, which forbids gambling and betting. * Section 4 forbids the sale of spirituous liquors. Section 5 forbids the use of the private property of one member by another. Section 7 forbids the giving of money to any club servant. Section 8 forbids the club servants being sent out of the club house by a member. Section 9 forbids dogs being allowed in the building or grounds. Section 10 forbids subscription papers or petitions being circulated or articles being exposed for sale. Section 13 forbids the transfer of a member's ticket or badge, such transfer shall be sufficient cause for expulsion . * 14. All communications must be addressed to the Secretary-Treasurer, to be forwarded by him to the committee of the department to which they relate. 15. No reprimand shall be given to employees or servants by members of the club, but complaints of any nature shall be made in writing, signed by the complaining member, addressed to the Secretary- Treasurer for the proper committee. 16. All orders must be from the Secretary-Treas- urer's Order Book and initialed by the chairman of the House Committee. No other accounts will be recognized, 19. A book shall be kept at the desk wherein sug- gestions for the consideration of various committees may be entered by the members. 20. Any branch of this club or affiliated club that is giving a competition to be followed by an enter- tainment in the Club House must put up a guarantee fund to cover the value of the complimentary tickets they send.
