J RULES AND REGULATIONS, 1. — OiiAPKL at 8:45 a.m., and 5:.W p.m. Mkals — Bi-eaklk.st at (S a.m. DiNXER at 1 p.m. 'J'ka at 6 p.m. ; on Sundays at 5:30 \).m. 2 — Ini^ress and egress fi-om daylight to 10 p.m. without leave. Students desirous of remaining out later tiian 10 p. m. must obtain leave from the Princijial (or the Dean in the absence of the Principal), ond shall enter the hour of theii' return on their weekly Lecture lists, and in the Book kept for that purpose. 3 — So strangers are allowed to sleep or to remain later than 12 p.m. in the College, without special leave from the Principal or the Dean. II— LECTURES. 1 — The Lecture List will be given out at the commencement of each Term. 2 — The List shall be prepared by the Principal and Professors, and given out by the authority of the Princii)af of the Cf)llege, until it can be submitted to the (/Ouncil. 3 — All R(Ml-Letter Days are free days to the iStudents, at the discretion of the several Proi'essors. 4 — Any Student obliged to absent himself from a lecture shall give account of his aljsence to the Professor. III-EXAMINAriONS. Examinations shall be held at the end of every Term, on such days as the Principal, in conjunction with the Professors, siiall appoint. Any Student failing to obtain the re(|uisite number of marks (one third) at any such ex- amination shall forfeit the Term. IV— CHAP EL. The members of the College shall attend Divine Service in the Chapel daily at the hours appointed, and on Sunday in the evening. On Sunday morning they shall attend Divine Service in St. George's Church : also on Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, Ascension Day, and on such other days as the Princii»al may appoint. V— ORDER. 1 — Order shall ho kept at nieal-thnes hy the President, who shall he one of the senior graduates. The other graduates and the students of the third year shall in turn, according to the alphabetical order of their names, be Vice- Presidents of the Table. 2 — Students shall be present in their respective lecturo-rooms, and in chapel, within five minutes after the bell begins to ring. 3 — All Students shall hand in to the Principal every Monday morning a list, in prescribed form, showing their attendance at lectures and chapel, signed by themselves and countersigned by the several Professors. 4 — It shall be the duty of all students to salute the Professors when they meet them, by touching their caps. VI— EXTRA MEALS. 1 — Extra tea shall be served in the dining hall at 9 p.m., at a charge of ten cents each. 'J'hose who wish to have this meal shall signify their desire to the housekeeper at tea time. 2 — The meals of guests shall be charged to those who introduce them, at the following rates : breakfast, tea extra, tea, fifteen cents; dinner, twenty- five cents. Notice of their coming t.; be given to the housekeeper. '^ — No meals to be taken uj) stairs, except by leave or the Principal, in cases of sickness. VII— PROHIBITIONS. 1 — Students are forbidden to smoke in the public rooms, play-grounds, or streets. 2 — Intoxicating li(iuors (unless by permission of the Principal for medi- cal purposes,) are strictly forbidden. 3.__Incurring debts, frequenting taverns, and playing games for money, are strictly forbidden. 4 — No school-boy shall enter any room in the College, and no Student shall enter any room in the School, without leave from the Rector. This permission it is not desirable to grant except under extraordinary cir- cumstances. VIII— BREAKAGE. 1 — All articles broken or lost must bo paid fur by the owner for the time being. The cost of all articles broken, which have no special owner, shall be charged, (if it be not known by whom they were broken) in fiiir pro- l)ortion upon all parties concerned in the use of them. 2 — It shall be the duty of the Bursar to inspect the rooms monthly, in order to ascertain that the furniture and other property are fairly used. IX— ROOMS. Rooms shall be assigned by the Principal to the Students in order of their College seniority, and no change of room shall be made without his l)ormission. I
