National Division of North America, > Boston, January 1, 1868. ) At the Twenty-Third Annual Session of the N. D. held at Wilmington, Delaware, on the 2l8t day of June 1867, the following resolution was adopted : — Resolved, That the Most Worthy Scribe be in- structed to prepare and have published, annually, a Sons of Temperance Directory, for the use of mem- bers of the Order ; said Directory to contain a full list of the officers and members of the National Divi- sion, with the residence of each ; and, also, as far as possible, a list of the Grand and Subordinate Divi- sions, with the place and time of meeting, and such other information as may be considered desirable. In accordance with the above, this little volume has been prepared and published. In its preparation I have endeavored to carry out the intention of the N. D., but with nothing to guide me, except the reso- lution, it would not be singular if many things of value to the Order, which might have :r en inserted were omitted. Some features not contained in the resolution have been added, and it is hoped that the publication will be satisfacljory to the National IXivision. Fraternally yours, SAM'L W. HODGES, M. W.
