 iHlnnd. Of the remainiuK 24. unly one species had hitherto Ik- '< found in ilic

 Besides the marine material, some specimens df ////</»« were collected liy 
 Mr. Johfinsen, hut they were not in good enough condition for classilicMtiun. 
 Some of them were ohtaiiud in a creek at Bernanl harhour, Dolphin and I'fiioii 
 strait, August 6, I'Jlo. .lohansen's record is as follows: ".\ttaehed to the 
 underside of stones in the streaming water were many (fully outstretched ca. 
 lii mm. long) Hi/iIra species of the following colour: suctorial disc at hind end, 
 pale ro.sa; this colour getting first pah'r hut afterw .riLs increasing in intensity 
 forwards; front end, strongly rosa; the 8 tentacle pale." 
 
 Somp other .specimens were ohtained at Ko ^snevik, Alaskan coast, hut 
 they were not kept, and the particulars are meagre. His note is as follows:
