The two Banners on the Church Screen bear the following inscrip- tions, taken from the prayer of Solomon on the dedication of the Temple : — " Let Thine Eyes be open and Thine Ears attent unto the prayers that are offered in this place. " " Let Thy priests be clothed with Salvation, and Thy saints rejoice in goodness. " In either Transept the Banners bear the inscriptions appropriate to the harvest season. On the North Side of the Nave, beginning at the East, will be found in order, between the windows : — (1) The Arms of tlie Diocese of Toronto. (2| The Arms of the Swale Family, of which the Foundress of the Church was a member. Attention is drawn to the Mutto which piumounts them : " Jesu esto mihi Jeswt," — •' O Jesus be to me a Saviour." (3) The Arms ol Colonel Macaulay, the Donor of the Site on which the Church is erected. (4) The Arms of the Diocese of Ripon, through whose Bishop Mrs. Swale's gift waa^^made. Under the Windows will be found :— • (1) The Cross of St. George. (2) The Cross of St. Andrew. (3) The Cross of lona, or Irish Cross. (4) The Banner of the Young People's Guild. On the South Side of the Nave, beginning at the East, will be found in order between the windows : — (1) The Banner bearing the Emblem of The Holy Trinity, to Whom the Church is dedicated. (2) A Banner bearing the Emblems of 8S. Simon and Jude, whose Festival occurs on the 28th October, on the Eve of which day the Church was consecrated. (8) A Banner benring the Emblem of All Saints, whose Festival occurs on the 1st November. Beneath the Windows on the South Side of the Nave are the Banneri of variuus organizations oonneuted with the Church, viz i — (1) The Woman's Auxiliary. (2) The Girls' Friendly Society.
