 Annual Convention o1' the Provincial Association of Protestant 
 'roachors oi" l.ower Canada, (now the Province of Quebec.) will 
 l.,. held Ml the Afternoon and Evenin(j of FRIDAY, the 18th 
 Oct. and the MoRNiNG of SATURDAY, the 10th Oct., in the 
 Examination Hall of the McGiU Normal School, Rolmont Street, 
 Montreal. 
 
 The order of exercises has been arranged as follows :— 
 Friday Afternoon, 2 P.M.— Meeting for business; Motions 
 
 and Discussions. 
 Friday Evknino, 8 P.M.— Public Meeting; President's Ad- 
 dress ; Addresses by leading Educationists ; Music and 
 Readings. 
 Saturday Morning, 9 A.M.— Election of Officers ; Reading 
 of Pcspers and Discussions ; Illustrations of Gymnastics. 
 .\ number of loading friends of Education are expected to 
 be present and to take part in the proceedings. 
 
 The titles of papers must be sent to the Secretary, on or 
 before the 17th October. It is recommended that papers shouid 
 be of suCh a len-th as not to occupy more than from 15 to 20
