 T. This Association shall he known as the 
 Hamilton Cluh, 
 
 2. Politics and rcli<,Mous questions of all desrrip- 
 iton shall he exekuled from the ohjects of the Club. 
 
 3. Kach candidate for admission shall he i)roi)osed 
 l>y one member and seconded by another, by a 
 j)r()i)osal in writini;, stating the candidate's usual 
 residence, rank, profession or other des(Tij)tion, which 
 shall be inserted in the book of candidates, and 
 signed by both mover and seconder, and such 
 <an(li(lates sh.dl be balloted for at the next ballot, 
 which shall take place after the laj)se of two week.s 
 h-oin the time of such ijroposal. 
 
 ProvideiU the names of tJie candidate and his 
 projjoser and seconder have been })osted in the 
 Reading Ruum under the hand of the Secretary, at 
 least two weeks betbrt' the day of ballot. No ballot

 be at liberty to withdraw from the Club, on his

 19. Any member who shall withdraw, resign, or

 24. There shall ])e a general meeting of the Club

 25. The annual fmancial statement of the year

 shall any member give any money or gratuity to any 
 of the servants of the establishment, upon any pre- 
 tence whatever. It being understood that this rule 
 is not intended to preclude any member of the Club

 money securities to the Club, or buying any of the 
 same from the Club.

 No member shall take away from the Club, 
 tipon any pretence whatsoever, any newspaper, 
 pamphlet, book, map or other article, the pro])erty

 unless sent out on Club business by a member of 
 the Committee, or to post letters at stated periods,
