After purchasing their knda^d paying for them at the rata of 91.00 par aoia, the miners are left free to WMrk the^r mines in such way and manner as will bast suit their purpose. There are no reservations, n«i royalties, and no vesatious rules to hamper them in their operations. The ' obnoxious regulations isaued by the Dominion GoTemmeiit were, it is alleged, withdrawn when it was seen how great was the dissatisfaction whMh they created, but the fact that they were issued at all shows Uie illibeiml spirit in which that Oovemment propose t4> deal with tha naw territory should it come into thair poss e ssion. This is the GoTemmant which Mr. Plummer supports, vaA whose policv, in this and other respects, he and his pwrty in Ontario uphold.
