 The following Missionary Services and Meetings have been 
 appointed by the autliority and under the direction of the Lord 
 Bishop. 
 
 By a special vote of the Synod, one -half of the proceeds of 
 the collections luade at each Meeting will be devoted towards 
 assisting Foreign Missions. The deputations are re(iuested to 
 endeavor to obtain at each place visited, an increase of annual 
 subscriptions and subscribers to the Missionary work jf the 
 Diocese, and to urge upon each parish receiving aid from the 
 Mission Fund the necessity of becoming self-supporting at as 
 early a day as possible. The clergy are particularly requested 
 to make all the necessary arrangements for holding the meet- 
 ings on the days named, and also to assist at the meetings 
 in their own neighborhood, and kindly to have the deputa- 
 ions conveyed from place to place, so as to lessen tlie expenses 
 
 The Bishop also especially requests that the Rural Deans 
 
 will, as far as possible, see that proper notice of these meetings 
 
 is aiven in their respective Deaneries.
