This Preceptory and Priory in accordance with its Patent of Constitution, shall be known and designated as the " Richard Cceur de Lion Precep- tory AND Priory of the United, Religious and Military Orders op the Temple and of St. .John of Jerusalem, Palestine, Rhodes and Malta," under the Sovereign Great Priory of Canada. ARTICLE II. Meetings. Section 1. A Reguhir Chapter of the Preceptory shall be held on the fourth Thursday in every month except the months of June, July and August, at such hour as the Presiding Preceptor may appoint, at the Chapter House, in the City of Montreal. Skc. 2. An Emergent Chapter of the Preceptory may be held at any time by command of the Pre- siding Preceptor. Every such p]mergent Chapter to be duly summoned by the Registrar, seven clear days' notice being given in each case. The busi- ness intended to be proceeded witli shall be expressed on the summons, and no business but that so expressed shall, under any pretence what- ever, be entered upon. ARTICLE III. (Jostum e . At every Regular and Emergent Chapter of this Preceptor^ , the Fratres shall be required to appear attired in the proper Insignia of the Order, and no Frater shall, on any pretence, be admitted, without his proper Regalia. No Companion shall be installed or admitted to Membership in tliis Preceptory, unless it be reported by the Council that he l\as behaved like a true and faithful Christian Brother. The Companion shall be duly proposed and seconded at a Kegular or Emergent Chapter of the Preceptory, and on such proposition being received, the Presiding Preceptor shall order the declaration, which shall have been previously signed by the Candidate and two Fratres of this Preceptory, to be laid before the Council for their investigation, and which declara- tion shall, at the time of the proposition, be handed to the Registrar. The Candidate shall be ballotted for at the next Regular or Emergent Cliapter of this Preceptory, after the receipt of tlie proposition, as the Presiding Preceptor may see fit.
