All resolutions aud transactions of the Board slLl be onteild ^ betoie Ae Board adjourns, and signed by the Presi- ding Ofhcer for the time bein-. 23 XYIII. benevolent rund, ®9P Benevolent Fund shall be sustained by the appropriation of all Donations, Fines, and the following sums to be set apart therefor by the Treasurer, viz.'^ One dollar from each initiation Vee; fifty cents' from «very joining fee, and ten per cent, of the net revenue of each fiscal year,— always providing, that if the said net revenue does not amount to one hundred dollars, the sum of ten dollars shall be set aside from the funds of the Lodge for the Benevolent Fund. The Benevolent Fund shall be under the control of the Worshipful Master as liereinafter provided, and a yearly statement shall be made by the Treasurer at the regular meeting held on the Festival of St. John the Luptist, shewing an exhibit of the Fund, apart fiom ail other accounts. The Worshipful Master shall have the power to draw upon the Treasurer for relief to the amount of Five dollars, but should the demand be greater than that amount, he shall refer the same to the Board of General Purposes, who shall have power to order through their Chairman a sum not exceeding twenty- five dollars. This Fund shall be applied towards the relief of Brethren or their fjimilies recpiiring it. XIX. f^isHovH. The Board of General Purposes shall be called on for a report of their proceedings. 4. Reports from other Committees will be received and considered. 5. Any other matters which may legitimately be brought before the Lodge will be considered. The above order may be suspended or changed for the Meeting by order of the Presiding Officer. No motion of any kind shall be regarded unless first reduced to writing aiid duly seconded. Every Brother A'hen speaking shall address him- self to the Worshipful Master ; and no Brother shall speak twice to the same question, unless by consent of the Worslii()ful Master, or in explanation, or the mover in reply. XXI. •llteralion of By-Laws, JUO alteration shall be made in these By-laws but by notice of motion, duly considered at a regular meeting; such notice must be inserted in the minutes, and set forth in the sunimonses for the then next regular meeting, at which it shall be discussed, and the resolution of the Lodge thereon duly recorded, and after confirmation at a subsequent meeting, shall become law. XXII.
