 I. To unite Young Cliurchmeii in love for

 II. To utilize to the host advanlairc what

 time, talents ov attainments, each one may have 
 at his disposal to promote GOD'S Gloiy and the 
 well-being of the Churcdi, under the direction of 
 thoTIergy ofS. Albans. 
 
 III. To encourage the study of (JOD.S Inspired 
 Word, the Liturgy and Principles of the Church 
 of Engdand, and to foster a taste for the various 
 branches of .Science and General Literalnre.

 1. Men in full Communion with tlio Cluircli 
 of England, who have been Confirmed and arc 
 habitual Communicants, and who having signed 
 the Constitution and Kules of the (Juild, declare 
 their desire to assist in can-ying out its objects. 
 These shall ho styled Ordinary Members. 
 
 ' 2. Men who habitually attend the Services of 
 the Church of England, -^nd who having signed 
 the Constitution and llules, make the same declar- 
 ation. These shall bo styled Associate Members. 
 
 3. Men of age and good repute in the Church, 
 who siirnifvtiieir desire to forward the interests of 
 the Guild, and who shall bo elected by a unani- 
 mous vote of the Subscribing Members, to an 
 Honorary Membership, without the privilege of 
 holding office or of voting at Guild Meetings. 
 These shall be styled Patrons. 
 
 4. Ordinary Members, who have served the 
 Guild well and faithfully for three consecutive 
 years, and are recommended as such by the 
 Council at a General Guild Meeting. These shall 
 bo styled Fellows, and be entitled to certain special 
 privileges . 
 
 THE OFFICERS. 
 
 The Officers of the Guild shall consist of a 
 Warden and Yicc-Wardens, a Master and three 
 
Deputy Mustcrrf, tlirco Secretaries and aTreivsinor, 
 all of whom shall constitiito the Council of the 
 Guild: And of this Council five nieniberH shall 
 Ibrm a quorum for the transaction of business. 
 
 The AVardex.— The Ecctor of S. Albans, for the 
 time being, shall bo ex-officio Wauden of 
 the (juild, and the Assistant Cler^i^yca'o^/o/o 
 Vice- Wardens. Any other (.'lei'gymen of 
 the city of Ottawa and neighbourhood, being 
 in Priests Orders, may bo elected as Vice- 
 Wardens at a (roneral Guild Moetin*;. 
 The Warden, or in his absence, one of the 
 Vice-Wardens, shall open and close the 
 Guild Meetings, with the office authorized, 
 and they shall be ex-officio members of all 
 Committees. 
 
 The ^Master. — The presiding officer of the Cluild, 
 styled a Master, shall be a Layman chosen 
 from the Ordinary Members, aF^<l — after the 
 third year from the date of founui Aon — from 
 one of the Fellows. lie shall take the Chair 
 at all General Guild Meetings, summon and 
 preside at Council meetings, and bo ex-officio 
 member of all Committees. 
 
 Deputy Masters. — There shall bo Three Sections 
 of the Guild, over each of which a Deputy 
 Master shall preside. These Sections shall

 bo styled the Sections of Theology, of 
 Science, and Literature. Tlio Deputy 
 Masters shall bo chosen i'rom the Fellows 
 or from the Ordinary^ Members. 
 
 The SBcaETARiES. — There shall be a Secretary for 
 each Section of the Guild, the Secretary of 
 the Theological Section taking precedence, 
 and undertaking the duties of secretaryship 
 for the Guild generally. They shall record 
 in a book the names of all who attend each 
 meeting and the minutes of the business 
 transac'ted, issue notices of meetings when 
 required, and see that all* the members sign 
 the Constitution ar.d Ilnlcs of the Guild. 
 
 The Treasurer. — There shall be one Treasurer, 
 who shall keep an account of all moneys 
 received from Entrance Fees and Subscrip- 
 tions, Donations, or any other source, for 
 the benefit of the Guild ; also of payments 
 made,. Avhich shall be only such as have 
 been ordered bv the Council. He shall also 
 present an Annual Account of lieceipts and 
 Disbursements at the last general meeting 
 in the month of June. 
 
 KULES. 
 
 1. There shall bo an Annual Meeting of all 
 the Members of the Guild on S, Alban's Day 
 (June 17) in each year, at which a Statement of

 tho Rocoipts and Bisbursomonts shall bo presented, 
 and at which all tho Officors for tho ensuing year 
 shall bo elected. On that day tho members shall 
 attend Divine Service in S. Alban'h Church, and 
 a sermon shall bo preached by tho Warden or ono 
 of the Vice- Wardens. 
 
 2. There shall be a General Guild Meeting on 
 tho first Tuesday evening of each month from 
 October to June (inclusive), at tho hour of 8 p.m., 
 when Reports from each of tho Sections shall be 
 presented, and general business shall bo trans- 
 acted. 
 
 3. There shall bo a Weekly Mooting of tho 
 members of each Section during tho same period, 
 or oftenor if necessaiy. 
 
 4. Each Section may make its own Rules or 
 13y-Laws, to be in force when approved l>y a gen- 
 oral monthly meeting. 
 
 5. Each Ordinary Member or Associate shall, 
 at least one ^veek before admission, be proposed 
 by ono of tl 3 Ordinary Members or Associates 
 and seconded by another, in writing, to the Sec- 
 retary, and no objection having boon raised, ho 
 shall be considered elected, and bo received in 
 due form : and in case any objection bo raised 
 by a member, he shall state the same to the War- 
 don in confidence, then tho Warden shall decide
