(Evening Drart>ing & 3n6u5trial Classes MONTREAL SCHOOL. ♦ ♦♦ This circular is issued with a view of giving information to those who desire it concerning the aims of the Council in establishing the Free Evening Drawing Classes, and the courses of study in the same. The school is chiefly intended to afibrd instruction in Drawing, and its useful applications in industrial pureuits, to those having taste and i.idination for these subjects, but more especially for artisans and apprentices. It is the aim of the Council to make the instruction as practical as pos- sible, in order that the pupils may profitably apply the knowledge gained in the various trades and branches of industry in which they are engaged. Daily experience demonstrates the great value of drawing in all trades, and as the classes are free, the Council trusts that both employer and employed may show an interest in the important work — the former by directing atten- tion to the value and usefulness of the School — and the latter by regular attendance on the classes.
