No person shall be eligible for membership who is not also a member of the Fish and Game Protection Club of the Province of Quebec, or if a non-resident of Montreal, of some other association reg^ilarly organized for the pro- tection of fish and game. ARTICLE III. The affairs of the Club shall be managed by a Com- mittee of ten members, who shall choose from among themselves a President and appoint a Secretary-Treasurer This Committee shall be elected by ballot at an Annual General Meeting of the Club, to be held on the first Wed- nesday in May of each year. ARTICLE IV. New members shall be elected by ballot, upon the first Wednesday of each month, between the hours of 12 noon and 3 p.m., and the names of all candidates and of their proposers and seconders shall be posted in the rooms by the Secretary fot a full week before the day of election. The entrance fee of new members shall be ten dollars, and the annual subscription of all members ten dollars, but at anytime after the number of members reaches two hundred and fifty the Committee may in their discretion increase the entrance fee, such increase however not to continue beyond the next Annual General Meeting unless confirmed at that meeting. ARTICLE VI. Subscriptions shall be payable in advance within one week of the Annual Meeting. The name of every mem- ber failing to pay by the 15th of June in each year shall be posted in the rooms, and if payment is not made by July ist, the Secretary shall report the same to the Com- mittee, who shall erase the name from the list of members. But the Committee may reinstate such member if he thereafter makes satisfactory explanation and payment. i?!'-' *i'' H^ ,f*#* ARTICLE VII. The subscription of new members ballotted for on or after January ist in each year shall cover the period to the Annual Meeting in the following year, and any new member failing to pay his entrance fee and subscription within thirty days of notification of election shall be con- sidered to have declined admission. i.-. ■if ■''^, r':-, - : i ^^ , ARTICLE VUI. vf ^ .., . Strangers, not residing within fifty miles of Montreal, may be introduced by any member inscribing their names in the Visitors Book, and such visitors shall be entitled to the privileges of the rooms for one week from the date of such entry. By special application to and vote of the Committee, this period may be further extended. ARTICLE X. Resideuts of Montreal and vicinity shall only be admit- ed as the guests of and when accompanied by a member, who shall enter names and dates without fail in the Visitors Book. If in the opinion of the Committee this privilege is abused, they may take such action and make such regulations as they consider advisable to secure the use of the rooms for the members only. ARTICLE Xi. The Committee shall meet upon the first Wednesday of each month, and at such other times as to them appear best, and shall have full power to make such House Rules and Regfulations as they may think necessary for the comfort of the members or the good order of the rooms. ARTICLE Xri. That in case of ill conduct on the part of any member, the Committee shall request his resignation, and if neces- sary call a full meeting of the Club for further action.
