We desire most heartily to co-operate with those venerable Societies in this earnest aspiration to the Throne of Grace, for the supply of a want in the Church of Christ, which at this time is so widely and deeply felt. With th^.s view we beg io express our joint desire that the Day named for this solemn object may be devoutly and religiously observed by your respective congregations, and that you will, on a preceding Sunday, urge upon them the duty and benefit of so observing it.
