The Treasurer shall take charge of the funds of the Society, and attend to the collection and payment of moneys. He shall lodge in the nameoftheCor- poration, immediately, and as he may receive the same, all moneys received in behalf of the Society, in such Bank as the Counc^ may from time to time direct. He shall make no payment except by order of the Council, nor withdraw any moneys from the Bank except by cheques signed by him and countersigned by the President. He shall grant receipts in a printed form, to be bound up in separate books, for all payments made to the Society on account of the semi-annual contributions of the members, as well as any commutation payment they may make.
