It was felt, that while professional men, engaged in the active practice of their profession/ might be relied upon to deliver rejgularly a limited numl>er of lecturer on special subjects, they ouutd not be expected to undertake to submit to the serious interference with their business and inevitable interruptions, involved in very lengthy courses. They will be awarded, after the Sessional Examinations ta April, 1891, upon the result! of the Examinations of the ftnt yeai^ and will be payable during the second year. Peaces open to competition of all the studen()b, will also be given to the students taking the best standing ib each year. No ichoUnhip or prize shall, however, be awarded to any student unless a sufficiently high standing, in the estimation of the Faculty, be attained* to nuerit it. Matriculated students who do not uke the whole course are classed as Partial Studenu, and are not entiUed to proceed to the Degi^ee of B.C.L. < Occasional Students will be received without matriculation for attendance on any particular series of Lectures.
