D. 1835, Article 2.--The St. George's Society shall composed of natives of England and Wales, of the| descendants, and generally of those of English ai Welsh extraction. Article 3.— A book shall be opened in which perso? desirous of becoming members shall be enrolled. ; persons who shall enrol their names previously to t 1st January, 1836, shall be considered the Origifh Members of the St. George's Society ; and no perse' shall after this date be admitted as a Member unl chosen by ballot. The person so balloted for must nominated at a previous meeting. No election to made by less than fifteen members, and three bla balls shall disqualify the candidate. Article 4. — Honorary Members may be admitte, but no person who is a native of England and Wal or of English or Welsh extraction, and resident Quebec, (except officers of the navy and army) q be an Honorary Member. They shall be nom'inat and elected at the same Meeting. Article 5.— The Society shall meet four times every year ; namely, on the 25th March, or Lady Day ; 24th June, or Midsummer Dayj 29th September, or Michaelmas Day j 24(h December, or Christmas Eve. The Society shall dine together on St. George's D. Should either of the days appointed above fall on Sunday, the Meeting shall be held the day after or day before, at the o|)tion of the President.
