Ar the Annual meeting of the Temporalities' lioard, held on Tuesday the loth day of May, 1891, the following report, emanating from the P',xecutive Committee, was recei\ed and adopted, and the Secretary was instructed to transmit a copy of it, along with the usual financial statements to each of the Beneficiaries. INVKSTMKXTS.-Loans to tiie amount of twenty-nine thousand eight hundred dollars, ($29,800) matured and were repaid in the course of the year. The last of the City of Montreal Cor- poration Bonds, held by the Board, for two thousand dollars ($2000), also became due and was paid. The sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) was re-invested in City mortgages at six per cent. To i)rovidc for the payment of arrears to the non-privileged ministers, from December 1883, to June 1891, inclusive, and also for the payments in full for December 1 891, it became necessary to dispose of securities held by the Board to the amount of twenty-four thousand nine hundred and twenty- five, ($24,925), besides effecting a temporary loan, of four thodsand dollars, ($4000;. The invested capital and other assets at the 2nd of May, as- set forth in Schedule A, represent a cash v.ilue of $165,564.82 Comi)ared witii the amount at same date last year, there is a reduction of $48,715.69 which represents approximately the draft made on ca])ital to meet the unusually large demand made on the funds in conseciuence of the payments of the arrears and full December payments aforesaid. The estimated amount required for the current half year is twelve thousand five hundred dollars, ($12,500). i4 Changes in the Roll. — Five ministers have died since the date of last report, namely : — Rev. George Weir, LL.D., of Morrin College, Quebec, on the 12th of June, 1891, aged 65 ; Rev. Donald Fraser, of Victoria, B. C. on the 24th of July, 1 89 1, aged 48; Rev. William Stewart, of Toronto, formerly of Hornby, on January 20th, 1892, in the 89th year of his age ; Rev. John Cook, D.I), of Quebec, on tht 31st of March, 1892, in his 87th year, and Rev. James Sinclair, of Huntley Ont.,on the 20th of April last, aged 82 years. In accordance with the By-laws, circulars have been sent to the Beneticiaiies retiuesting them to nominate a successor to late Rev. Dr. Cook, as a member of the Temijoralities' Board.
