 undergone tliis treatment it is known as " Boiled" Oil. 
 
 Owing to the fact that commercial Linseed is never pure, it follows that the oil 
 expressed from siicli si'ed, varies in eliaracter, within limits, depending upon the nature 
 iiimI niiiount of foreign seeds in admixture. The following extremes are quoted from 
 Allen's C'eniniereial Orjiaiiic Analysis, 4th Ed., Vol. IF, p. 70: —
