 Man proved to be as like God, our Creator, as the Acorn is like 
 the Oak. 
 
 The whole universe being merely machinery for continually 
 multiplying God. 
 
 Otherwise therj would evidently be no sense vvhatever in the 
 Scriptura! statement "That the spirit beareth witne-s with our 
 spirit that we are children of God; and if children^ then heirs, heirs 
 of God, and joint heirs with CJhriist."— Rom. viii, 16, J 7. 
 
 The successive stages of tliis wonderful transformation of man 
 into God, being plainly indicaied, and proved to be perfectly in 
 accordance with the well known facts of science, as well as with the 
 words of the Bible. 
 
 Railroads plainly foretold in the Bible as the one grand physical 
 preparation requisite to make possible the universal righteous govern- ' 
 ment, or the Millenium predicted.,— Isaiah xl, 4, 5. 
 
 The predicted railroads (and the telegraphs accompanying them) 
 having already^ become sufficiently abundant to "gather all nations" 
 into one "great congregation." THK BLESSINGS of -'the King- 
 dom of God," which all Christendom has been continually praying 
 lor during the past eighteen ceiituries, (" Thy Kingdom come") must 
 certainly now come upon us suddenly and unexpectedly, as did the 
 calamities " in the days of Noah and Lot." 
 
 As this New Era of " mercy and truth, . . . righteousness 
 and peace," must now begin immediately, there appears to be no good 
 reason whatever why not NEXT THURSDAY EVENING 20th 
 DECEMBER, in the GRAND OPERA HOUSE. 
 
 To witness the very beginning of such an Era, may possibly be 
 attended with advantages whioh one might hereafter be sorry to have 
 missed.
