Since thi last edition the laws relating to both game and fishing have been consolidated, and again amended . while many new Orders in Council liave been passed. /The numerous changes in the laws have necessitated this new edition, which is considerably increased in size and in the number of headings and cross references. The Digest is a synopsis of the whole law, so far as it relates to the various animals, bird* and fish protected by it, and is intended both as a handbook for tj^e guidance and protection of sportsmen, and also as a book of reference for those whose duty or privilege it is • to enforce the laws f6r the protection of the game of this Province.
