When the line reaohee the front of the atage, it will halt for a moment, then the first twelve girla (t.e , the first six paira) will turn a quarter of a oirole to the right, and faoe the right of the atage ; the laat twelve (<.«., the laat aiz paira) will turn a quarter of a circle to the left, and faoe the left of the atage. Aa each girl tuma aha will bring both flaga in front of her, holding her handa in a line with her ahouldera. The eleventh, twelfth, thir- teenth, and fourteenth girla will alowly turn, aa on a pivot, and all the girls will wheal to the right, aa the apokea of a wheel. They will be cloaely followed by the twenty-Brat and twenty-second girla, who will march to their places at the front of the line, and so' on, until all have marched through the line to the front, and the line is in its original position, first and second girla in front. Let the girls on the right now turn a quarter of a circle to the right, and the girls on the left a quarter of a circle to the left ; all are now standing hack to back. The whole line -vill now wheel to the front, the first and second girls turning as on a pivot, and the twenty-third and twenty- fourth girls taking very long steps. The flags will be held well up. The twenty-four girls are now facing the audi- ence. The girls will now backward wheel to places. The line will now wheel in the other direction, the twenty-third and twenty-fourth girls will act as pivots, niid the first and second girls will take long paces. The line is now standing with its back to the audience. Let the flags bo raised so as to be seen in a straight line nlmvu the heads of the girls. The line will now back- ward wheel to place. DIAGONALS. The girls will now sepante, the right-hand girls. turn- ing to the right, and the left-hand girls to the left ; they (i -)». '■>' .V'' will mMroh to the back of the stage. Each line will then march across the stage diagonally. The first girl will march from the back of the right-hand side of the stage to the front of the left-hand side of the stage. The second girl will march from the left-hand back of the stage to the right-hand front of the stage. All the odd numbers will follow the first girl, and all the even num- bers will follow the second girl. The second girl will (lass between the first and the third, the fourth girl between the third and the fifth, etc. This movement may also be repeated. n»- COILS. The girls will pass to the back of the stage, and come down in single file, flags over their shoulders. The first twelve will march to the centre of the right-hand side of the stage, the second twelve will march to the centre of the left-hand side of the stage. The first and thirteenth girls will act as leaders. They will lead each line in as large a circle as possible, taking care that one oirole does not interfere with the other ; then they will describe a smaller circle inside the larger, and so on until they reach the centre of the coil.
