Bio
Joanna Zylinska is Professor of
New Media and Communications at Goldsmiths, University of London.
She
is the author and editor of many books on technology, culture, art and
ethics, including Bioethics in the
Age of New Media (MIT Press, 2009), Life after New Media: Mediation as a Vital
Process (MIT Press, 2012, with Sarah Kember), and Minimal Ethics for the Anthropocene
(Open Humanities Press, 2014). She is also a fine art
photographer and
a curator. Her current projects involve experimenting with the
concept
of ‘open curating’ via the open platform Photomediations Machine and writing
a book on nonhuman photography.
