However, this care is becoming increasingly complex, with more than one-half of patients admitted to the CICU discharged with a noncardiac primary diagnosis (1) . The complexities in care can extend beyond survival and can require financial, physical, social, and emotional support long after hospital discharge (2) . We used existing models in a neighboring field to design, incorporate, and build a patient-focused clinic aimed at identifying intensive care unit (ICU)-acquired illnesses and coordinating care with multidisciplinary cooperation, including cardiac rehabilitation. ยช 2 0 2 1 T H E A U T H O R S .
