While various studies have reported that COVID-19 is associated with a hypercoagulable state and thrombotic complications in critically ill patients, there are scant case reports on thrombotic events as one of the presenting symptoms. We report a case of acute upper extremity ischemia as the initial clinical presentation of a COVID-19 patient. However, there are scant reports that highlight acute thrombotic events at initial presentation. We 11 believe that clinicians should be aware of the possibility of acute thrombotic events being one of 12 the initial symptoms of this infection. In this report, we describe an unusual case of a patient who 13 presented with acute unilateral upper extremity ischemia who was diagnosed with COVID-19. Consent was obtained from the patient for publication. Coagulation and Antiphospholipid Antibodies in 12 Patients with Covid-19.
