In general, for a drug infection, POCU might be applied for a complex injection such as intraarticular drug administration, 2 but it is not generally used for general in simple injection. Cost of POCU might be an obstacle for use in many resource-limited areas where disease outbreak is serious. Contamination of the tool also becomes another concern. In addition, using POCU might increase the required operation time for completeness of vaccination. During the pandemic, experienced practitioners have to be selected for vaccine administration. POCU concept might be interesting but it is questionable for real-life practical use.
