[1] We would like to thank you for the chance to correct and appreciate your patience regarding the corrections asked. [2] Starting with the values for HbA1c, it has been rightly pointed out that at few places the unit has been missed/misquoted, which we would like to clarify is % and not mmol/mol. The usage of steroids was decided depending upon the patient condition and the physician's expertise and/or opinion, according to which the patients of our institute have received injection Dexamethasone in the dosages described, whereas the patients treated elsewhere have received either Injection Dexamethasone or Injection Methylprednisolone. The dosages of the same were not exactly known. Regarding the fact about Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus, we agree with the commenters and would like to change it from roman numbering as and where required. Regarding the P value, as per our knowledge, the decision about significance depends upon the researcher and thus it can be set by the researcher that such a test reveals a statistical analysis.
