That being said, this is not clearly an "apples and oranges" comparison either, and in reality, mounting data suggest that these groups may be closer to "tangerines and clementines." Ultimately, we cautioned that ". until more evidence is available, there is a reason to remain concerned for the clinical course of COVID-19 [coronavirus disease 2019] in pregnant women, despite encouraging early experiences here and elsewhere," and we encouraged further research. We continue to feel that more information is needed and believe that we can all agree on this final point.
