This should prompt us to prepare for a protracted campaign against COVID-19. An important part of these preparations will be the allocation of health care resources to minimize both COVID-19 and nonÀCOVID-19 morbidity and mortality within countries and across countries. This requires a global, national, and regional strategy that is more internationally to contain COVID-19. Nobody will be safe until everybody is safe.
