Dear Editor, we found that the publication on "Early Experience in the COVID-19 pandemic 10 from a Vascular Surgery Unit in a Singapore Tertiary Hospital" is very interesting [1] . Tan et al. 11 found that "Surgical services form an essential component of the healthcare system but as 12 surgeons we need to be versatile and be able to respond to the ever evolving pandemic situation
